These terms apply to every buyer, distributor and customer (“Customer”) who obtains products, hardware, software, technology, technical data or services (“Products”) from Muttahidah FZE, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates since 2017, or from its affiliates.
1. Applicable rules
Products may be subject to export-control, sanctions and anti-money-laundering rules, including:
- the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree-Law No. 43 of 2021 on Commodities Subject to Non-Proliferation and its implementing regulations, and UAE anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing legislation;
- sanctions adopted by the United Nations Security Council;
- restrictive measures of the European Union adopted under Article 215 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and the EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821;
- United States export controls and sanctions, including those administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC);
- the laws of any other country that apply to a transaction.
2. Customer undertakings
The Customer, its subsidiaries and affiliates shall not, directly or indirectly, sell, export, re-export, transfer, divert, release or otherwise make available any Product, or any support related to it, to any country, entity, person or end use that is prohibited or restricted under these rules, without the prior authorisation required from the competent authorities.
Prohibited end uses include in particular weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems, restricted military end uses, and the monitoring or interception of communications in violation of human rights.
3. Due diligence
Muttahidah screens its counterparties against the applicable sanctions lists and may request end-user and end-use statements, licences or other documents. Muttahidah may suspend or cancel any order, without liability, if it has reasonable grounds to believe that a transaction could breach these rules.

The Customer acknowledges that other countries may have laws on the import, export, use or distribution of Products, and that compliance with them is the Customer’s responsibility.
6. Duration
These terms survive the expiry or termination of any sales, distribution, service or licence agreement between Muttahidah FZE and the Customer.
7. Acknowledgement
By placing an order or signing an agreement with Muttahidah FZE, the Customer confirms that it has been informed of these terms, accepts them as binding and will comply with them in good faith. Questions can be sent to info@muttahidah.com.
